The 2015 edition of the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce’s Business Development Week will be here in just two weeks.
Disclaimer: I’ve been a member of BDW committee since the 90’s, so I may be a tad biased. In my opinion, it is the best thing the Chamber does all year.
Business Development Week brings a whole week’s worth of educational sessions designed to help our business community grow.
The kickoff lunch is always one of the highlights. This year’s kickoff lunch featuring Clay Clark on January 26th should be a great start to the week.
In recent years the Monday evening program has been located at the New Port Richey Public Library and it will be there again this year.
There will be an education day at Marchman on Wednesday. The lunch there, prepared by the culinary students, is worth every penny that is charged. A Community and Business Expo at the Verizon Center will finish off the day.
Thursday morning will include the Success Stories Breakfast at the Seven Springs Golf and Country Club. Thursday afternoon will include the SMARTstart Challenge and an open house at the New Port Richey’s Business Incubator. You don’t want to miss Thursday afternoon.
These are only the highlights of an amazing week. Visit the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce website or drop by my store for a flyer describing everything that will be going on. A word to the wise: Some of the meal events may well sell out, so be sure to RSVP as soon as you can.
See you at Business Development Week
Rob Marlowe, Mayor
